If you are into nature, this is the place! Take a walk on one of our seasonally maintained walking trails and see deer, turkeys wild plants and trees or sit on a bench and watch the clouds pass you bye.
We are centrally located with easy access to: New Glarus, Mineral Point, Monroe, Blanchardville, Mount Horeb and Yellowstone Lake State Park.
We offer spacious rooms that are well appointed to be comfortable and restful.
There is easy access to area ATV and snowmobile tails and there are boat landings for your jet skies and power boats on Yellowstone Lake.
We even have pasture for your horses!
No matter whether you like riding bicycles, Gold Wings or your Harley Road King Classic like I do, the roads in this area are perfect for motoring along on the road less traveled. And in case you were wondering, yes we are biker friendly if you are a friendly biker!
The Pecatonica River flows through the valley just west of us near Blanchardville. There are improved boat landings available on the river to put in your canoe or kayak and travel up stream toward Hollandale or downstream toward Argyle. No matter which way you choose, you are in for a scenic paddle.
We have a simple mission in mind. We want to make sure that we do what we can to make you stay as stress free as possible no matter if you are using our home as a base camp to explore the area or if you just need some quiet time away from the hustle and bustle.
We've tailored each room, our hospitality and amenities to make your stay is as enjoyable and relaxing as possible. We hope that our attention to detail and desire to pamper you shines through each and every moment of your stay.
Our property offers the rustic charm of a log cabin with all the amenities you would expect in your home. We embrace green technology with solar heating and power generation. With our homestead inspired simplicity, you're sure to enjoy any stay with us, whether you're here to attend one of the many area festivals or just relaxing. We are located in the hills west of New Glarus a mile off the paved road but you won't feel isolated unless you want to be. Take a walk and see the old machine shed or some deer grazing in the fields at sunset or hit town for an adult beverage with friends. No matter what, you will feel at home in the quiet comfort of rural Wisconsin but keep your eyes open because you never know what you might see.
